Percy Jacko

So I watched Percy Jackson yesterday. Oh, yo want me to summarize it up in two words? Ok here it goes.
Epic. Fail.
In that order.
I know I know that I am going to get flamed at by Miss Faboo but seriously. I am a hardcore fan of the book which is awesome (every time someone sees the movie and doesn't read the book a teddy bear dies). To be fair I should list all the reasons why I didn't like the movie, because there were several reasons why I don't like it besides the fact that I am bitter. Yes I said the 'B' word. I know that you are all thinking it.
Reasons Why I Detested Percy Jackson and the lightening thief the movie

1. They left out all the awesome characters that made the book awesome. Clarissa, Dionosseyess, Ares, Hades.
   
2. It was badly cut. By this I mean the camera shots were not great. I said the guy who directed the 1,2 Harry Potter movie did it. Well the techniques are definitely from the early 2000s'
3. Details were WRONG. There are all the little things that a movie has to have to create the same detail as a book. This is hard BUT POSSIBLE. I will list A SMALL NUMBER of details that they forgot. For Example --------> Pen/sword supposed to be cheapo cap pen NOT gold and click-able. Supposed to re-appear in Percy's Pocket when lost. Called Riptide and has a prophecy that comes with it.
4. It was plain annoying.

So that is some of the reasons why I disliked the movie. To be Fair hre are some features that were okay about the movie. (I am writing these so Fab can't shish-kabbab me next time I see her.)
Reasons why (some) people may like Percy Jackson the movie.

1. The effects are good. (BUT THESE DAYS ALL EFFECTS ARE GOOD... sorry, had to say)
2. Good for little Kids as it is (SLIGHTLY) educational
3. New actors. I know that the actor who plays Percy is probably going acquire a couple new fans. Mostly of the female variety.
   

So that are the reasons why you should/shouldn't see the movie. This is completely my own opinion so if you think it rocks-your-stripy-socks-off. Whatever.
